IT Strategy Roadmap for a leading global confectionery brand​

Background

A leading global confectionery brand was looking for an IT Strategy roadmap to deliver on their 3-5 year vision for the EMEA region.

Approach

Given the fact that there were a large number of markets in the region, representative markets were shortlisted for the study. Meetings were held with the leadership team to understand the vision. Workshops were conducted with all the relevant stakeholders to understand the existing processes, challenges and IT landscape. Gap analysis report was then created by comparing with the industry best practices. Recommendations were then made spanning the entire business value chain. These recommendations were also grouped into initiatives that were ranked based on value realization for implementation as per the defined roadmap.

Result

Various factors such as existing tools and solutions already available with the client, level of competence and degree of involvement required by client teams in implementation of new tools/solutions were considered while preparing the roadmap. Thus the client had a high degree of confidence in the success of the initiatives and the ultimate goal of delivering on the vision.
