Job Summary :
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with a strong engineering mindset to join our growing team. This role blends deep data science expertise with practical software engineering support. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop and deploy scalable data solutions while also helping to maintain and evolve our data infrastructure and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
*Experience in building data systems and pipelines.
*Develop data analytics and data visualizations.
*Build algorithms and prototypes to highlight new potential capabilities.
*Improve our product matching capabilities.
*Design machine learning systems and experiments.
*Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools.
*Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
*Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results.
*Train and retrain systems when necessary.
*Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks.
*Keep abreast of developments in the field.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:
*Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, R etc.
*Previous 2+ experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
*Proven 2+years of experience in designing machine learning models.
*Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, and data modeling.
*Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture.
*Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
*Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
*Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
*Knowledge of testing frameworks and techniques.
*Experience with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
*Effective communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
*Aptitude for analyzing complex problems and developing effective solutions.
*Creating new ways to leverage our data for business use cases.
*Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
