Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) Specialist to join our investment operations/technology team. This role is critical in supporting and optimizing the use of APX—SS&C Advent’s integrated portfolio management and accounting platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in investment management operations and a deep understanding of APX functionalities, workflows, and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities :
*Administer, configure, and maintain the Advent APX platform to ensure optimal performance.
*Manage daily portfolio accounting processes including trade capture, reconciliation, and performance reporting.
*Work closely with front, middle, and back-office teams to support investment workflows and ensure data integrity across systems.
*Design and generate custom reports using APX Reporting tools and SSRS.
*Coordinate APX upgrades, patches, and integrations with other systems (e.g., CRM, client portals, data warehouses).
*Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls using APX features.
*Troubleshoot issues, liaise with SS&C Advent support, and provide timely resolutions.
*Train internal users on APX functionalities and support onboarding of new clients or portfolios.

Role Requirements and Qualifications :
*Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
*7–12 years of hands-on experience working with Advent APX in a financial services firm.
*Strong understanding of portfolio accounting, performance measurement, and reconciliation processes.
*Experience with APX reporting tools including SSRS, Report Writer, and/or Data Mart.
*Familiarity with securities, trade life cycle, and investment instruments across asset classes.
*Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
*Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
